Minister Norma Foley Officially opens Davis College Extension
Minister Norma Foley visited Davis College on Thursday 11th May to officially open the new multi million euro extension in the College. Minister Foley was greeted by Student Council Chairpersons Peter Holland and Zoe Moloney along with Director of Schools at Cork ETB Mr. Pat McKelvey and Principal Stephen Gilbert. Minister Foley met with numerous students before going on stage where she unveiled a plaque marking the occasion. In her speech she praised staff in the school and encouraged students to take the opportunities offered to them. Throughout her visit It was apparent that her focus was on the students taking every opportunity to praise and meet with them.
