Mission statement and Ethos
'EDUCATE THAT YOU MAY BE FREE’
Our mission statement takes inspiration from Thomas Davis, the nineteenth century writer and educationalist, who famously said,
‘Educate that you may be free.’
We interpret this to mean we strive to create a school where we inspire students to fulfil their potential, to be happy, ambitious, independent, caring, confident and respectful individuals, free to pursue their dreams in life.
We do this within the framework and values of Education and Training Board Schools.
